Yes We Can! As we prepare to give thanks at this time of year for all we are grateful for, we should also think of those in our community who are in need. The UCLA Food Drive is collecting goods and funds to benefit both the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank and UCLA Food Closet.
Last year, the UCLA Food Drive collected over 42,000 pounds of food donations for the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank to benefit individuals and families in need. With so much need this year all around us, even in our UCLA community, we ask that everyone contribute what they can. If you are in need of the Foodbank goods, please make note of the distribution centers. UCLA Students in need can also get food or meal vouchers at the UCLA Food Closet, run by the Community Programs Office.
